Can I hold my wedding and reception at Moose Creek Ranch?

Yes – you can host your wedding and or reception indoors or out. Our beautiful lodge is rustic and spacious. Our outdoor setting is breathtaking yet private. For a truly western experience consider including an old fashion barn dance as part of your event.

How do I reserve Moose Creek Ranch for my event?

The date is yours when we have received the agreed upon deposit and signed contract. We will place a 5 day courtesy “HOLD” on your date while the contract is being signed and returned.

Do I need an appointment to visit Moose Creek Ranch?

Yes – If possible, we invite you to visit the Ranch in person. Please contact us here or call our event manager Jeanette at 208-787-6078 ext #1 for scheduling.

How much will it cost to have my event at Moose Creek Ranch?

Our rates vary depending on the time of year. Weekends are slightly more expensive than weekdays. Please contact us here for the most current pricing and other information.

Is a deposit required?

Yes – Because we are a small venue, we require 50% down to confirm your date, the balance due 90 days prior to your event. We accept cash, check or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).

Is there a damage/cleaning deposit?

Yes - All events require a $1000.00 damage/cleaning deposit. Moose Creek Ranch will run the deposit as an AUTHORIZE ONLY which will not appear as a charge on your credit card unless actual damage occurs. At the end of your event all decorations, etc, will need to be removed and all trash will need to be placed into the appropriate receptacles and the floor swept. For an appropriate charge, Moose Creek Ranch will provide this service.

Are there Bride and Groom dressing rooms?

Yes – The Lodge at Moose Creek Ranch has separate dressing rooms with full baths for the Bride and Groom.

Is lodging available for my guests?

Yes – Your guests are welcome to stay on site. See more on our available lodging options here.

Are tables and chairs provided by Moose Creek Ranch?

Yes – All tables and chairs listed below are provided at no extra charge.

  • 60 inch round tables – 12 available
  • 96 inch banquet tables – 4 available
  • 125 folding chairs

Are linens, chair covers, centerpieces, tent, etc. provided?

No – See our local recommendations for providers and rental  options in the Jackson Hole and Victor area. We can order some thru our vendor in Jackson at our cost for your function.

What about catering?

There are several high quality caterers on both sides of the Tetons. See our local recommendations for caters in the Jackson Hole and Victor area. Please have your caterer contact us 30 days prior to your event so that we can make sure that there will be the appropriate equipment on hand, whether provided by us or you, for your event. We have a complete caterer’s kitchen located in the Moose Creek Lodge.

Can we have a rehearsal at Moose Creek Ranch?

Yes – Please contact us to make arrangements for any added activity in conjunction with your event.

Can we have a bar?

Yes – Moose Creek Ranch does not provide any alcoholic beverages but you may do so if you like. The alcohol license will be provided by your caterer. The legal age in Idaho to consume alcohol is 21 and we ask that you maintain a strict policy of enforcement, as well as your guests to “drink and drive responsibly.”

Is there on site parking?

Yes – plenty.

Do you allow pets?

Yes – however, dogs must be leashed at all times. Owners to be responsible for all deposits.

What about the weather?

The weather in the Tetons is somewhat unpredictable. Usually Spring, Summer and Fall are beautiful. However, showers are possible any time. In case of inclement weather, the great room in the Lodge is a perfect alternative to an outdoor event.
