What a charming place! This was a last minute pick for one night of our RV trip as we deviated to follow our friends who were in the area who had rented a cabin here. Even late in the day the staff was very accommodating to our tardy reservation. There are 3 RV pads right next to one another but it doesn’t matter as the entire Ranch is absolutely beautiful and this is not a place you would just sit in your RV. There is a gorgeous main building with pool table and very clean updated restrooms inside plus a shower house/bathroom building (separate for men and women) for those who are RVing or “glamping” in their new rustic campsite buildings. Then there are cabins you can rent that range from a rustic cabin with full kitchen to the absolutely gorgeous and amazing Rendezvous cabin that our friends stayed in. It is top notch, and I’ve traveled and stayed in many places like this. The entire place is not only charming but absolutely immaculately maintained from the buildings to the bathrooms to the lawn and landscaping. Additionally we met both the manager Jeanette and the owner John and they are sincere, helpful people who obviously take a lot of pride in their ranch. They have a barn used for weddings and events which we obviously didn’t use but if you are in the area it is worth a look. Also horseback riding is available in season. They are not on a main highway, just a mile or two off, and that is what makes this little hideaway the perfect vacation or weekend spot for anyone who wants to relax in their beautiful mountain setting. We spotted quite a bit of wildlife and there is a babbling mountain brook behind the cabins and the view of a mountain from the front. Do note that they do not have a restaurant or any “food” facilities on site but there is a town pretty close that has both a regular grocery and an organic grocery store you can visit as well as several restaurants. Not enough good things to say. Give it a try!
